Larry Lee
Vice President/Controller
Larry Lee was hired to work for SCI as Controller in 2001. About a year later, he picked up additional responsibilities as Director of Safety. In December 2004, Larry was promoted to the position of Vice President/Controller. Larry’s experience includes 15 years working for CPA firms helping mid-market companies become more successful, 5 years working for large public companies (he discovered he prefers to work with smaller entrepreneurial businesses), and 7 summers doing asphalt paving and excavating. He has a BA in accounting from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, and he has been a CPA since 1983.
Larry enjoys working with all the great people at SCI because it is fun to help them understand the numbers and work toward improved safety. He also admittedly enjoys badgering SCI’s Vice President, Kelly Nielsen. When he is not working, Larry enjoys cooking, scuba diving, cycling, and spending too much money on his kids.
