My name is Bill McGriff and I am with the City of Phoenix and I inspect the work that your office here is Phoenix does in inspection area # 1. I deal with a lot of your crews throughout out the day here and it is such a relief to work with them. In the past we have had to deal with a lot of difficult contractors with Qwest and I have to say that dealing with Sorenson has been a blessing. They never hesitate to call me and keep me in the loop as to what is going on on a job or to resolve a problem. If I ask them to do something specific they never complain they just take care of it.
The reason I am writing you today is to talk about one person specifically. Jason Ormond is the person I am talking about. I recently had a job that Qwest was in conflict with the storm drain that the city's contractor was putting in. Qwest was bouncing some ideas around as to how they were going to handle the process of distributing the work to a contractor. I contacted Jason and talked to him about the situation and he was very willing to do what was necessary to get the job done as soon as possible. He met me on site and we worked everything out that would need to be done and Jason took the info back to the office and did what he could on his end. Unfortunately Qwest decided to put the job out to bid and unfortunately Sorenson did not win the bid. This is just a example of the little things that Jason does on regular basis to help me. Jason goes out of his way on many occasions to do what he can in situation to help everyone out. He never is too busy to help. If Jason can not be there someone from Sorenson will be. Once again I would like to say how much of a relief it is to hear that your company has won a bid, or is going to be doing another job in my area.
Everyone at Sorenson goes above and beyond there duties to help out and make sure the job is going to be safe #1 and smooth # 2. I look forward to working with Sorenson in the future and as always I will do what I can to help your job go as smooth as possible. My project office wants to thank your construction team for a job well done. We were particularly impressed with your attention given to the First Baptist Church’s landscaping detail at the northeast corner of the project. The red lava rock drought resistant landscaping and the red block wall look really nice. These add an aesthetically pleasing compliment to the color of the church structure. These simple details go a long ways to foster winning relationships with our partners, our customers and the public in general.
We look forward to a successful project wrap up, as we meet this week for the final inspection and eventual contract closeout of the project.

"I would like to convey my thank you for the quick response by SCI and Qwest to repair vital connectivity to our library customers at the Century Branch Library at 1750 E. Highland Avenue. The problems we have had at this branch have been going on for several years and I am very pleased with the customer service that recently has resolved the issues.
I spoke with Frank Campbell who laid out the solutions which had been well thought out and took into consideration the customers needs. Mr. Campbell made sure that these plans were carried out within a week. Not only did this happen quickly and at times that would least impact the public, but there was also a new cable installed directly to the library, which will enhance service by preventing service interruptions.
